Broken Record

I know I sound like a broken record. I talk about GMO's and
chemtrails, boring subjects that no one likes. I don't want
to talk about it either. It's boring, frightening and IT'S
KILLING YOU.

But it's Christmas and you don't want to think about that.
Got news, You'll be popp'n GMO's  like crazy with all
the parties and celebrations. Yuck.

If you don't want to listen to an old broad, here's an
interesting young guy who will tell you the truth.
Too boring, perhaps, to listen to the whole thing but
just try a little (may save your life) at least hear a small
portion of it.

I'm off to have lunch with a friend at a Health Food
Store. At least you know they don't serve GMO's.

Thanks. It's their loss if they don't listen. There's another video out with a little girl who is well educated on GMO's.

Blow em up as far as the moon
If they never come back, it'll be too soon
      I don't understand why people don't care
If they get ill, do they think that's fair?

  3. Very smart young man indeed. Each and every one of us should heed what he (and you!) has to say. Always good to have a reminder like this!

Very aware young man. GMO's make one seriously ill and no one seems to care........ until it's too late, that is.
      Thanks for the wise words.

  4. I suppose "they" always assume we're all going to die sometime, and the when and how don't really matter. Guess what? The "when" and "how" do matter! We are not a nation, or world, of "research subjects." We are honest-to-God, flesh and blood human beings. Our lives mean something, to us, if not to you — you who can only count money, and estimate the value of a duck.

    Blessings and Bear hugs, Manzi!

Well said, Rob. Cheering. The words you used, flesh and blood human beings..... the main clue that our body isn't meant for genetically modified so-called food to give us nutrition and run our organs for a healthy life.
Thank you. I hope your words are like our natural seeds and grow with vitality.

    1. Oh Dear Terry,
Some people are listening . Remember this summer, there was that GMO day when people gathered in their own cities all over the country. That was promising.
When people laugh .... and they do laugh at me when I try to spread the word, I feel rejected but mostly sorry for them because they will never come close to my age.
Thanks Terry..... It's so great to have you for a friend. You are so wise about nutrition.

  7. Manzanita, you should write more about all those subjects. I will listen to that video this weekend.
Now I have to prepare dinner, and I hope it will be free of GMOs...
Enjoy your time with your friend.

You are very kind. i know you don't want to eat GMO's and especially have your little girl eat them. The only place I will go when I eat out is the Health Food Store. I know nearly everyone who works there and I see the cooks going out in the produce or meat dept. and selecting the food. They serve an excellent buffet for lunch and dinner

    1. Thanks, Manzanita. I enjoyed this educational video.
I go to the local food coop here. They have healthy choices there. I also love to grow our own vegetables.
Unfortunately, there are many financial interests that override the health of the general population. In other words, those financial interests are not in our best interest.

You've got it right. It takes some one young for sure. When I try to wake up people, because I'm old, they think I'm senile. But I'll still try once in a while because I care about people.

  10. I am not sure why the Average Person objects to banning GMOs or GMO Food Labeling. I totally get why big companies like Monsanto are lobbying hard to keep GMOs unlabeled. They fear that if people knew which products used GMOs versus those that didn't, they would use their purchasing dollar to buy the non-GMO food. It simply doesn't make sense that people would vote NO to their food being labeled simply so that they can make a choice.

We need more young people getting informed and speaking out.

I honestly wasn't aware that there were people who didn't want their food labeled. I thought it was just the large corp. that were the ones with objections. I do my own little thing with the food and don't pay much attention to what others are doing except when I go into a regular store, then I realize how many people are eating GMO's and don't seem to care. I have always bought my food in a health food-type store for at least the last 35 years. But I'm afraid that soon we will not have a choice and that would be the end of health food altogether. Really scary.

  12. Where did all this stuff come from that no one wanted or asked for? One of the problems is that people just can't quite believe that our 'leaders' don't always have our best interests at heart.

That must be the reason. People are innately good and want to believe the people they elect to government have the country and the peoples best interest at heart. I've never liked reading fiction but I love reading history so I began digging for the true history. I don't know about your country but the Americans have been hoodwinked for a very long time. Thanks for popp'n in.

  15. The truth is the truth, no matter how old its speaker may be. Our 35-year-old daughter is very outspoken about eating natural foods. She's a happy-so-lucky sweetheart, but she gets very serious when this topic comes up.

It is very serious if they don't label the foods.... GMO or organic. Then we are doomed. And perhaps we won't be able to buy organic seeds either. And the honey bees are dying out. They say humans can survive only 2 years after the honey bees are gone.
You have one smart daughter and you are very proud of her, I know.

  16. Hi Manzanita,

They are making strides in clearer labelling in the UK. I try my best to grow my own food.

I do too. Hopefully we will always be able to get the organic seeds.

  19. Hi Manzanita .. thankfully I was brought up with home grown food - but even back then we did what the government suggested to improve our crops, eradicate the weeds etc ... and GMOs crept in .. as it's 'considered' to be one way to feed the world .. it's such a complex process .. but we should at least know what we're dealing with ... sadly it's not only food ... so many aspects - it's great to have these videos out there ..

Great post and what an amazing kid or young man now! Cheers Hilary

It's been gradually happening. You were so lucky to grow up on the natural home grown food. Me too. But I recall corn was one of the first to bite the dust..... I used to love corn but haven't eaten it in many, many years. All young people should be as aware as this young man.
