The Mountain

Are all these stones yours I said to the mountain.

Pleased but reluctant to admit my praise could move it much,

Shook a little and rained a windrow ring of stones to prove it was so.

Stone felled I got up, addled with dust

And shook myself without much consequence.

Obviously, I said, it doesn't pay to get up too close to greatness.

  3. Great poem! Love your blog! Following you!

To get your awards onto your blog:

Right click the award photo wherever it is.
A block will pop up. Select SEND TO and left click PICTURES.

Get out of all of that.

    Open your blog.

    Open DESIGN on the Dashboard.

You will see Add a Gadget to the far right where all the decorative stuff is.

Open this up. Block will pop up on the Left.

    Scroll down, select PICTURES.

    A block will pop up.

Select Browse...a block will pop up from the computer...select Pictures...a list of your pictures will pop up. Look thru, select your award...click...it will go to the first pop up...you can also type whatever you want in this block...Thank you to....for this award, whatever...

Click Save. Voila! It shows up on your blog.

(In case the computer decided to send your award to Documents, check Documents if it's not in pics. Hope this helps. I struggle with the computer, too. Took ages to figure this out.)

  4. Kitty,
I thank you so much for taking the time to explain putting an award on the blog. No wonder I couldn't figure it out.... Lots of steps and you did an outstanding job of writing it down.

I'll visit your blog again soon.

  6. But, Greatness wept and said,
    "I cannot help myself".

I have always stood in awe of a majestic mountain.
