W for Water

During April I'll be posting daily in the A-Z Blogging Challenge.
My these is the Hunzas
Today is W..... for Water

Hunza water comes from glacial streams that rush down the rocky mountains from an elevation of 25,000 ft. in the Himalayas.

Glacial water is invigorating, life enhancing and contains a high alkaline PH with an extraordinary amount of active hydrogen.

The above picture is a water wheel that gives them access to the ice cold glacial water.

Here we find the true "fountain of youth" that adds longevity and health to a group of people who have lived in isolation for over a thousand years.

Along with an all organic diet, the living glacial water has attracted health seekers from around the world to study the Hunza lifestyle in all it's simplicity.

P.S. Dear Bloggy friends, Thank goodness I have the rest of my posts ready. I've been working very hard at the ranch and did something, or pulled something in my neck. I can barely move and can't turn my head. I'll try to do comments and read your blogs but if I can't, you'll know why. Thank you for being so patient with me. Love from Manzanita

  1. PLEASE take care of yourself & FEEL BETTER SOON!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Oh, dear! It's such a literal pain to be in pain! Put some warm packs on your neck and shoulder and try to relax. A computer probably isn't the best thing for a sore neck, so dictate it to someone with your feet up relaxing!

  3. Take care...healing thoughts headed your way.

Please take care, and let your neck heal. Get some good help if the problem hangs on much longer.

And thanks for the Water post.

    Blessings and Bear hugs, Manz!

  5. Oh no!!! I am so sorry you are in pain and hope you are much better soon.

  6. Get better Manzanita and take care! x

  7. Hi Manzanita .. I meant to ask how you are .. those kind of muscle tears are frustrating to say the least - I do hope you can recover soon ..

Take care and I love this post on Water - and the glacial properties .. fascinating ..

    Cheers Hilary

  8. I'm so sorry to hear that you hurt yourself. My right shoulder is funny from all this A to Z stuff, sitting, typing and using the mouse. I wish you could get your hands on some of that glacier water, but in lieu of that, please take it easy and don't worry.

  9. Sounds like they have quite the water supply, maybe that is where the fountain of youth came from.

Yeah take care of the neck too, I have a pinched nerve in mine and it is nooooo fun.
