How we wrote messages when we lived in Florida |
The walrus said to talk of many things
Of shoes and ships and sealing wax
Of cabbages and kings.
I need a small break. See you at A-Z.

Flamenco arm practice with a talented student.
A small break
ReplyDeleteYou take
Geez to that
Dissappointed the cat
See can't even spell LOL
Have a fun time off at your cell
And don't talk to the trees
Or strange dogs willing to share fleas
And if you start talking to things
You may get lock up in the loonie wings
Pat
DeleteMy body still goes like the bunny
It's the peepers not so funny
They have a mind, they often blur
If I were cat I'd raise my fur
Then I have to take some time
Because I barely see my rhyme
If a tree does at me tug
It's prob because it needs a hug
If in the loonie bin I arrive
I'll use ear plugs for all the jive
I'll rest the peepers from the puter
For A-Z I'll then be cuter. LOL
Enjoy your time off. Hahaha... love your letters in the sand.
ReplyDeleteLove to you!!
Hey Kiddo
DeleteIt's about a week that I'll rest my eyes because the A-Z means being on the computer a lot. April.... OMG this month evaporated.
Love you and see you soon.
Greetings human Manzanita,
ReplyDeleteMessages in the sand are at hand. And take that little bit of time to relax.
My human and I do wish you much fun with the amazing alphabet challenge. I know a lot of folks enjoy the interaction that comes from the Z to A Blogging Challenge. I got that right haven't I? :)
Pawsitive wishes,
Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet superstar! :)
Dear Penny, the Illustrious Jack Russell Dog,
DeleteI suppose you and the human are having more fun over there in Merry Old England, than is humanly possible. Opps..... well you know what I mean. Caninely possible. I'll see you and your human in a week at the Alphabet challenge,
Thanks for the pawsitive greeting.
A bucket of juicey bones
Sounds like a plan to me! Take care and see you in April :)
ReplyDeleteHello Mark
DeleteI'll see you at the A-Z and after that, summer will have established itself. Get the lawn mower and weed whacker out. LOL
It' nice to take a break. I'm looking forward to your A-Zs though, you always do such good ones!
ReplyDeleteOh River, you are too kind,
DeleteI'm not as prepared this year but I must thank you for being one of my most loyal readers last time. Enjoy yourself and I'll see you in a week.
Love and Peace.
I'm participating this year, both blogs. I hope to have all posts done by the start. See ya at A to Z. :-)
ReplyDeleteYey Su-siee
DeleteFun deal. You'll be on the computer night and day with two. Ha... See ya later.
Hi Manzanita .. incredibly intent flowing movements - lovely to watch and listen to ... Happy Easter with a little break .. see you next week ... bye bye - Hilary
ReplyDeleteHilary,
DeleteI'm glad you enjoyed the music. It's modern Flamenco written by Paul Renslow. I should have added that to the top burb. He's so talented and so is my student. I wonder what lessons I'll learn from you this year.
Yeah! I'm glad your doing the challenge, can't wait to find out how you'll educate me this year!
ReplyDeleteBish,
DeleteYou are the one who always teaches me something about writing. See ya.
Have a good and relaxing break Manzi and I look forward to your return.
ReplyDelete~Keith
Keith,
DeleteThanks. You are going to your hometown..... was it this coming weekend? If so, enjoy your visit with your sister. I remember... Maryville, Ky.
See ya later.
The video is mesmerizing. Your arms are like waving tendrils of sea kelp, or ribbons. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBish
DeleteOh thank you. Arms are so important in Flamenco so we practice, practice, and ditto. WOW.... waving tendrils of sea kelp or a good magnesium drink. LOL
Have a good break!
ReplyDeleteJohn,
DeleteThanks. See ya in the funnies. Oh dang, whenever I try to be funny it just turns out corny.
I am mesmerised by your dancing!! Wow!! Take care
ReplyDeletex
Kitty,
DeleteIt's an arm/hand practice that is vitally necessary for Flamenco dancers. Cheers to you and the two babies.
Those fluid and graceful movements were such a pleasure to watch.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your break. Will be waiting for your return.
Patti
DeleteThanks but kinds boring to watch practice but the music is original by a friend and it's so relaxing. See you in a week.
Apparently that was only ONE way you wrote messages... you also stuck them in bottles and threw them into the ocean! No, I haven't found it yet.
ReplyDeleteSee you at A to Z:)
Robin'
DeleteOh dang. I suppose a shark ate it. See ya.
Enjoy your break!! I've missed your flamenco videos--this one was peaceful!!
ReplyDeleteFishducky,
DeleteSee, be careful what you miss..... LOL Thanks
I loved that little video Manzanita. How wonderful to have a talent like that :) Enjoy your little break and we will look forward to seeing you on your return. Take care.
ReplyDeletethisisme,
DeleteThank you .....
Hope everything is going well for you and that you are able to work in your garden. See you in a short time.
I can't wait to see what you will do this time at the A to Z.
ReplyDeleteInger
DeleteI'm hardly prepared this year.... too busy and too many decisions.
I think I remember your theme.... Your 50 years in America.... ?
See you April l.
Love and peace
Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteGail
DeleteThanks ..... wish I could but I have to get the ranch ready for the market.
This is so beautiful! The hand movements remind me a little of our hula.
ReplyDeleteKay,
DeleteOf course I was a student of the old pure flamenco and that is still my dance, but there is a new modern flamenco and this is some of the music. It not heavy like the old stuff I cut my teeth on 60 some years ago. LOL
Dear Manzanita, those fluid hand movements were entrancing. They sort of mesmerized me. I wonder if doing them all these years has kept you from having arthritis in your hands?????
ReplyDeleteI look forward to your A to Z postings. That takes a level of dedication I just don't have. So I admire all of you who are accepting the challenge. Take care. And one last word: the cat at the top of your blog is gorgeous. Peace.
Dee,
ReplyDeleteI like mesmerizing. Ha No it didn't. I have it.
Sorry you won't be participating.
The cat is photogenic. You know the saying, so and so looks better in photos than in real life. LOL
Enjoy your break!
ReplyDeleteJJ
ReplyDeleteThanks and now it's time to return for A-Z.
